Sometimes I wonder if I had early menopause since I didn't seem to have any really bad symptoms during "my time". I do remember a time when I was in a writing class and I would get hot and start sweating. Whether it happened other times I don't remember. I thought it was stress although I don't remember being in any particular stress then but who knows. I didn't want kids so I didn't put much weight into this.
This is a dreaded event it seems and I was super lucky I have to say. But I just hate how the meaning around menopause really is so negative or full of fear or despair that something is over. How society puts you in a different category "bye bye now". Well something is over but it can also be a good thing. Now sex can be different. And you don't have to worry about when you're period would mess up a vacation or event. I did feel a little wistful when my friends get their periods. Now it's like "oh yeah I remember those days". Just like I do with a lot of things now. But that is ok because at least I did those things to remember. I went on a little longer than I planned. I would love to hear what you think or how you experienced menopause. It helps us all. Comment below. : )
