40, and Her Chances of Making the Olympics Are Getting Better

To me this article highlights that sometimes second chances can be just as sweet. That sometimes you're just not finished with a pursuit, dream or whatever it represents to you.  Time doesn't have to take you down. Roberta Groner is a runner to watch at Sunday's New York City Half Marathon. The 40-year-old mom of three from Randolph had a breakout year in 2017. In December, Groner qualified for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials by placing second at the USATF marathon championship race in California.Groner's finishing time — two hours, 30 minutes and 38 seconds — was 42 minutes faster than her first marathon, just six years earlier.
